HISTORY: Originally purchased by the car’s Ivybridge owner from Kastner of Plymouth, with the original order and invoice included in the paperwork, featuring a local Cornish registration number. The service record shows 9 service stamps with a gap from 2004 until 2016, during which time the car covered only 9333 miles – there are other records, bills, receipts etc for this period and all the old MOT certificates are preserved in date order. Additionally, there is an invoice dated 27/06/2016 providing evidence that the timing belt kit was then replaced.
Sadly, the car’s first owner passed away in 2020 and the car was bequeathed to his daughter, who used it briefly, and from whom we then purchased it.
Following on, we sold this car to a new owner in Bournemouth in October 2020 who has kept it in covered storage and carried out the following work:
Replaced the engine front cross member with a new genuine item.
Fitted new front lower ball joints, anti-roll bar drop links, steering track rod ends, track control arm bushings.
Replaced the front brake discs, pads, brake hoses and back plates and rear brake pads.
Fitted a complete genuine Volvo exhaust system.
Fitted new headlight reflectors.
Replaced transmission fluids.
Fitted new Bosch battery.
The car was then purchased by a new owner from the New Forest area who has now decided to downsize, hence now again available for purchase.
We have records for and knowledge about this car going back to its first owner, so can warrant the very low mileage as genuine.
