HISTORY: First registered in January 1983, this car’s second owner purchased it about a year later and owned it up until his passing late in 2023, that’s just 2 owners in 41 years with the second owning the car for 39 of those. This car is a carburetted version, 2127cc, fitted with manual transmission and overdrive. It has been maintained by the same Somerset family garage for over 20 years and the MOT history confirms the very low mileage of 96691. It qualifies as an Historic Vehicle thus being exempt from MOT, Road Tax and ULEZ/Clean Air Zone charges.
I had a “test” MOT carried out, whilst waiting to hear from DVLA about the V5, and, remarkably, the car only “failed” because the wipers are not working, and the tailgate catch requires rectification (not secure). This means that the car could be used as a rolling restoration project once those items are fixed. I now have a letter from DVLA via the Executor of the former owner’s estate, confirming that a V5 can be obtained by completion of form V62 by the new owner.
Alternatively, it would be possible for us to restore and refinish the car to the new owner’s specification, at additional cost.

In decent condition considering the car’s age, good headlining, interior heater fan operating normally. I also have 2 sets of suitable trim available, one blue velour, the other black leather, if required.
