FORD PUMA 1.7 ROAD/TARGA RALLY CAR MELINA BLUE

SPECIFICATIONS AND EQUIPMENT
ENGINE: 1.7 VVT fitted with large bore 4 branch exhaust manifold and KN filter. Large bore decat single pipe exhaust system with single rear box – records around 86dBa at noise test so very quiet. Cambelt and tensioner pulleys replaced. Very reliable, torquey unit with 100% finishing record.
TRANSMISSION: Puma Racing gearbox, rebuilt last year with 4.3 final drive. CG Motorsport sprung 4 paddle clutch with uprated cover fitted 2 events ago.
SUSPENSION: Front: AVO thick piston stage rally units, fully adjustable for bump/rebound and ride height. 2.25” ID 10.5” length 185lbs springs. 3 events since rebuilt at AVO. Rear: AVO stage rally units, fully adjustable for bump/rebound and ride height. 2.25” ID 12” length 115lbs springs.
BODY: All bushings replaced with Polybush units including rear axle and gearbox reaction link. Fitted with modified Escort GP4 heavy duty sumpguard. Lightened as possible with minimum trim left to meet RAC rules. New MOT when sold.
BRAKES: Front: Fitted with Fiesta ST 280mm discs and EBC green pads. Rear: Fitted with Fiesta ST discs to replace drums with legal handbrake cables, standard brake pads. Handbrake: Hydraulic item fitted to existing lever. Adjustable rear bias valve fitted in cockpit. Aeroquip metal brake lines installed.
LIGHTS: 100 watt bulbs fitted to original headlights. Auxilliary lights are Hella, maximum width allowed, fitted with 130 watt bulbs and fused/relayed, separate dash switch.
INTERIOR: Driver’s seat is Cobra ex FIA approved, mounted on adjustable side mounts, fitted with 4 point ex FIA Willans harness. Passenger seat standard with 4 point ex FIA Willans harness. LED navigator’s light, additional POTI socket. Fitted with functioning FIA cut-off switch to fuel pump with alternator protection diode. MOMO Corse leather steering wheel.
WHEELS/TYRES: Will come with 8 Puma Millenium alloy rims fitted with Maxsport M&S tyres.
SPARES: Spare good original gearbox, 280mm front drilled, vented discs, standard suspension and complete Puma 1.7 spare car for spares, if required.
